Nigeria’s David Olorunfemi Seals Deal with Finnish Giants HJK
Finnish champions HJK have secured the signing of 19-year-old Nigerian striker David Temidayo Olorunfemi from Tripple 44 Football Academy. The youngster has committed to a contract running through the end of the 2027 season, with an option to extend for a further year. He arrived in Helsinki last weekend and has already begun training at the club’s facility. Eager to compete for domestic honours and European qualification, Olorunfemi said he’s thrilled by the challenge and impressed by his new surroundings in Finland. HJK overcame interest from clubs in Sweden and Denmark to land the prolific forward, who joins other academy graduates making their mark on the European stage.
