Private School Fees Rise in Kubwa: Please Recommend Affordable Options Around Dutse

I am considering moving my child from Faith Academy, Kubwa, after the school fees reportedly rose from ₦170,000 per term to ₦290,000, plus ₦18,000 for notebooks and uniforms. This brings the total to about ₦308,000 per term, or roughly ₦760,000 for the session. Parents are also expected to pay 75% of the fees before resumption in September, with the remaining 25% paid later. Given the current economic hardship, I find the increase difficult to understand. Is this level of fee increase now common among private schools? Please recommend good private schools around Dutse and Kubwa, Abuja, with more affordable fees and solid academic standards.

The jump from ₦170,000 to ₦290,000 per term is substantial, and the extra notebook and uniform costs make budgeting harder.

Before moving, it may be worth comparing the full session cost elsewhere, since lower tuition can still come with several compulsory charges.

Ask shortlisted schools for a written breakdown of tuition, uniforms, books, transport, and any levies before making the switch.
