Wike Predicts Tough Road for Opposition to Beat Tinubu in FCT 2027
Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, says it will be very difficult for any opponent to defeat President Bola Tinubu in Abuja in the 2027 election. After inspecting major road and infrastructure projects in satellite towns like Kuje, Karu, Apo–Kashi and the Bwari–Kubwa corridor, he highlighted how these developments have improved commutes and boosted local economies. “Development must reach beyond the city centre,” Wike said. “When the people are happy, you have no choice but to be happy.”
