Abuja Hosts Dementia Awareness Walk to Highlight Care and Policy Support
Dementia Africa organised an awareness walk in Abuja on Monday to mark 2026 Dementia Week. The walk began at Eagle Square and ended at the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. Participants came together to show solidarity with individuals affected by dementia and their families. Organisers delivered a message urging government and institutions to intensify their response. They also informed the ministry about the upcoming Dementia Conference set for September 2–3, 2026, at Exclusive Serene Hotel, Abuja.
