Survival Jobs Should Be a Stepping Stone, Not a Career Trap

A survival job can help me meet immediate needs, pay for training, save for a project, or get through a difficult period. There is nothing shameful about starting there, but I should treat it as a stepping stone rather than a final destination. If a job offers no growth, better pay, promotion, or useful experience, I need a clear plan to move forward. I should keep building skills, pursuing better opportunities, and saving towards my next step while earning an income. The danger is becoming so comfortable with surviving that I stop planning for progress. Ambition requires intentional action: assess my options, learn what is valuable, and avoid spending years in work that cannot support the future I want. May the efforts of everyone working towards a better life be rewarded.
