God’s Promise of New Beginnings

Our God specialises in fresh starts. The Bible reminds us that turning a sinner from their error saves them and covers a multitude of sins (James 5:20). It is never too late to begin again. Countless men and women in Scripture received second chances. Peter denied Jesus yet became a pillar of the early church. David committed grave sins yet wrote psalms that comfort millions. Jonah was sent a second time with God’s message (Jonah 3:1). Sin can shatter lives, but God’s love never fails. We are called to reflect that grace. As Galatians 6:1 urges, we should gently restore those who stumble. Seek out broken people and help realign their lives—then trust God to complete the healing.
