Phyna has defended fellow BBNaija star Ilebaye after an Instagram Live in which Ilebaye cried out for help over an alleged domestic assault. The Level Up winner told netizens to mind their words and stop attacking Ilebaye’s dad. She revealed she pulled strings to get Ilebaye out of the house safely and confirmed her colleague is en route to Abuja. Social media users have since reacted to Phyna’s defence with a mix of support and criticism. Earlier this year, Phyna’s own family drama made headlines when her father spoke about feeling abandoned after her win. Comedian DeeOne later offered N500,000 to Phyna’s dad and called on her to stop living a “fake life.”
