Westerhof Appeals for Relocation of Abuja House Over Security Concerns
Former Super Eagles coach Clemens Westerhof has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to relocate a house allocated to his family in 2019 from Gwagwalada to a safer part of Abuja. Westerhof, who led Nigeria to its 1994 Africa Cup of Nations title and first FIFA World Cup qualification, said security concerns around the Gwagwalada-Kuje area have made it difficult for his family to live in or visit the property. The Dutch coach said he has approached housing authorities over the past year without a resolution. He said he is not seeking special treatment, but wants the national honour to be one his family can enjoy safely.
