Edo Cattle Dealers Call for Stronger Stakeholder Unity to Modernize Livestock Sector
The Edo State chapter of the National Association of Cattle Dealers, Processors and Marketers has pledged to deepen collaboration across the livestock value chain. The national and state leadership met at Eyean Cattle Market in Benin City to discuss ways to boost economic growth and peaceful coexistence. Leaders emphasised the importance of law-abiding practices and modernisation in cattle marketing and processing. They called on all members, authorities and host communities to unite and support efforts for greater efficiency and professional order. The association’s guiding principle is fair and inclusive leadership in each state. Stakeholders agreed this approach will build trust, increase local participation and drive national development in the livestock business.
