From Judgment to Restoration: Trusting God’s Eternal Promise

Why should believers avoid dwelling on evil powers? I believe it’s unwise to give too much attention to spirits that have a beginning and an end. Only God is eternal—the Alpha and Omega, the author and finisher of our faith (Rev 22:13–15). We must trust His report above all else. I listened to two elders debate serving God versus chasing worldly rewards. Working for God is wise, but it comes with costs. When no one applauds your faithfulness, wisdom calls for self-care alongside service. Scripture reminds us that we battle rulers and principalities in heavenly places (Eph 6:12). Their thoughts and intentions oppose God’s truth and promote moral decay. Yet all powers will one day be handed over to the holy ones, and true believers will reign in God’s everlasting kingdom (Dan 7:27). As we gather tomorrow in our parishes, may our worship be acceptable before the King of Kings. He sits on the white throne, ready to judge and restore. Evil powers will be destroyed, and we will be restored in His Spirit. Amen.
