Trump Warns of Striking Iran’s Power Plants and Bridges if Talks Fail
In a recent statement, US President Donald Trump accused Iran of firing shots in the Strait of Hormuz and violating a ceasefire agreement. He said many of the rounds targeted a French vessel and a British freighter. He added that US representatives will travel to Islamabad for negotiations and noted Iran’s claim to close the strait is redundant, given America’s existing blockade. Trump claimed Iran is losing half a billion dollars daily, while the US incurs no losses. He offered what he called a “fair and reasonable deal” but warned that if Iran refuses, the US will knock out every power plant and bridge across the country. He insisted it was long overdue and urged Iran to accept the terms.
