Adeyemi Rejects ‘Impostor’ Allegations, Invites Court to Vindicate Him

Adeyemi Rejects ‘Impostor’ Allegations, Invites Court to Vindicate Him

Adeniyi Adeyemi insists he was properly appointed head of the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). He says he has nothing to hide and welcomes the court’s verdict after the Federal Government filed charges against him. The Presidency claims Adeyemi forged documents and impersonated officials to create a fictitious council. Its spokesman describes the case as fraud and says police have filed an eight-count charge at the Federal High Court in Abuja. Adeyemi denies all wrongdoing and accuses senior officials of demanding kickbacks from the council’s grant. He wants an independent panel and highlights a line item in the 2026 budget for the disputed council to support his claim.
