Iwobi Ruled Out of Fulham’s Emirates Clash with Arsenal

Iwobi Ruled Out of Fulham’s Emirates Clash with Arsenal

Fulham manager Marco Silva has confirmed Alex Iwobi will miss Saturday’s Premier League trip to Arsenal. The Nigeria international suffered a hamstring injury in the 0-0 draw with Brentford two weeks ago and also missed last weekend’s win over Burnley. Silva says Iwobi isn’t fit to feature against Mikel Arteta’s side. Kenny Tete and Kevin remain doubts too, though both will be assessed in training ahead of the match. A final squad update will be issued by the club before kickoff.

Silva's track record with injured players hasn't been stellar, so I'm not convinced Fulham will cope easily against Arsenal.

Fulham should consider shifting to a back three or reinforcing midfield cover to shield against Arsenal's pace without Iwobi.
