Fenerbahçe Hopeful Vows to Sign Mohamed Salah to Rival Victor Osimhen
Fenerbahçe presidential hopeful Aziz Yildirim has teased a blockbuster move for Mohamed Salah next season. He says the club would meet Salah’s reported €20m salary demands, which rise to €30m after taxes, and sign him on a three-year deal worth €90m. Yildirim made the pledge during a live appearance on TRT Spor ahead of the club’s upcoming elections. The promise comes as Salah leaves Liverpool as a free agent after nine seasons and over 250 goals. The former Fenerbahçe president also confirmed active talks with Atletico Madrid forward Alexander Sorloth to bolster the attack. Sorloth impressed in Turkey with Trabzonspor in 2019/20, finishing as the Super Lig’s top scorer. Yildirim, who ran the club from 1998 to 2018, is challenging businessman Hakan Safi for the top job at Fenerbahçe.
