An Ifa-Based View of the Eight Non-Material Components of Human Beings

I explore an Ifa-based view of the non-material essence of human beings. I identify eight spiritual components: Ofun Oturupon, Ika Ose, Irosun Ogunda, Iwori Odi, Obara Ofun, Otura Ogbe, Oturupon Obara and Otura Irosun. In this framework, these components relate to inherited spiritual advantages, leadership influence, accumulated time, managerial capacity, abilities carried from past incarnations, guidance from past lives, empathy and newly acquired knowledge. I also argue that animals accumulate only Ika Ose and Irosun Ogunda. I explain Iwori Odi as a form of spiritual managerial ability with ranks that develop through experience and conduct. Its four sections are benevolence, challenging established order, self-criticism and solving unusual problems. This perspective also discusses how good and harmful actions may affect empathy, spiritual development and future incarnations. What are your views on these eight components and their role in human existence?

Eight distinct components is an interesting claim, though readers may need clearer boundaries between them to follow the framework.

A short explanation of what each component represents and how they connect could make this easier for newcomers to discuss.
