Niger State Police Arrest Man for Killing Younger Brother in Rijau
The Niger State Police Command has arrested a man accused of killing his younger brother in Rijau Local Government Area. The incident occurred on June 21, 2026. At about 3pm, a misunderstanding broke out between brothers Bello Nani and Babuga Dangiwa at Iri Village. Bello Nani allegedly macheted Babuga, causing fatal injuries. Officers led by the Divisional Police Officer responded at 4:30pm. They found the victim lifeless and evacuated him to Tungan-Magajiya General Hospital for autopsy. The suspect is in custody while investigations continue.
