Arinzo Returns: Star-Studded Nollywood Sequel Featuring Funke Akindele & Mercy Aigbe

Arinzo is back after a 13-year disappearance. In The Return of Arinzo, everyone believed she was dead — now she’s resurfaced with unknown motives. Produced by Fespris Production and executive produced by Iyabo Ojo, Soso Soberekon and Abazee Productions, the screenplay by Moshood Yakubu Olawale spans Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania, making it a landmark pan-African project. Iyabo Ojo reprises her iconic role, joined by Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, Uzor Arukwe, Bimbo Akintola and William Benson. The ensemble cast also features Adjetey Anang, Juma Jux and Nana Dollz. Premiere is on Sunday, 29 March 2026 at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. The film opens in cinemas nationwide on 3 April 2026, distributed by FilmOne.
