Omenugha Inspires NYSC Members to Build Character and Connections
Dr Nelson Omenugha urged NYSC members at the Anambra orientation camp to focus on sound character, professionalism, and strong relationships. He argued that while certificates secure opportunities and skills open doors, lasting success relies on integrity, discipline, and emotional intelligence. Speaking alongside ‘Yan Baba’ Chijioke Igwendu under the theme “Are Certificates and Skills Enough?”, Omenugha challenged corps members to look beyond academic qualifications and cultivate virtues that inspire trust and fuel career growth. He emphasised their neutral role ahead of the 2027 elections, calling for law-abiding conduct and resistance to any form of inducement. He also commended the Anambra NYSC management for their commitment to mentoring young Nigerians during their service year.
