Idemili North Mayor Unveils Three-Pronged Plan to Upgrade LGA Headquarters
Chief Stanley Nkwoka briefed information officers at the Ogidi council headquarters on a three-pronged infrastructure plan for Idemili North LGA. The projects will address office shortages and boost security. They will also improve the aesthetic appeal of the headquarters environment. The local library has been restocked with books and is set to be renamed in honour of Chinua Achebe. Plans are also under way to install a statue of Governor Soludo and a new fountain in place of the eagle symbol. In addition, the main gate will be replaced with a sturdier, architecturally striking design. Work on these upgrades is slated to begin soon.
