Volatility Index Night Class – Day 1: Understanding VI

Welcome to Day 1 of our Volatility Index Night Class. Over the next seven nights, we’ll meet for 45–60 minutes to turn speculation into skill. Each session includes a 15-minute recap and Q&A, a 25-minute lesson, and 10–15 minutes of chart practice. We’ll trade on demo only until you’re ready for real funds. Tonight’s lesson covers the Volatility Index (VI). VI is a synthetic index on Deriv that mimics market volatility without relying on stocks, forex, or crypto. You’ll learn about V10, V25, V50, V75, and V100 and how volatility levels drive price moves and candle sizes. By Day 7, you’ll know how to place VI trades, manage risk, and run two basic strategies.
