Ogun Culture Ministry Hosts ‘Improving Productivity for Enhanced Service Delivery’ Workshop
The Ogun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism held a one-day training at the Abeokuta Cultural Centre. The workshop focused on boosting productivity for junior officers at grade levels one to six. Permanent Secretary Dr. Quudus Yusuff said the initiative supports the government’s goal of a more effective public service. He urged participants to apply their new skills, warning against absenteeism and indiscipline. Future sessions will target professionals within the ministry, including dancers, singers and performers. Director of Administration and Supplies Mrs. Oluwafunmilola Osibodu highlighted how the training prepares staff for greater responsibilities and leadership roles. Speakers covered public records management, ethics, discipline and financial regulations. Participants described the programme as insightful and pledged to uphold civil service guidelines in their duties.
