Ondo APC Candidate Appeals to Tinubu over Alleged Primary List Swap

One of the excluded APC candidates for Idanre/Ifedore, Razaq Obe, has urged President Bola Tinubu to step in after his name was replaced on the party’s revised list. Obe says he won through due process, including primaries and appeals, and that his name was lawfully forwarded to INEC. He argues any changes now are illegal and will harm the party’s image. He warned that allowing the new list to stand would expose the APC to ridicule and weaken internal democracy. Obe pointed to protests across Ondo State as evidence of widespread anger among party members. He is calling on Tinubu, APC leaders and stakeholders to correct the list before it damages the party’s unity and electoral chances.

It's odd that Obe insists he won fairly yet the revised list left him out without clear explanation from party officials.

Don't overlook possible internal politics; this might be less about fairness and more about strategic alliances within local APC structures.

Local stakeholders should demand transparent documentation of the primary process and follow party guidelines for filing official appeals.
