Ex-IGP Adamu Warns He May Leave APC Over Nasarawa Primary Irregularities
Former Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu Abubakar has appealed to APC leaders to address alleged flaws in the Nasarawa governorship primary results. He noted his 195,285 votes versus Sen. Wadada’s declared total and claimed genuine voting was manipulated. He says result sheets were removed in some areas and reissued to favour a preferred candidate. Adamu insists he still supports APC if justice prevails. Otherwise, he will inform supporters of his new political platform for the 2027 race. He urged calm and unity among his backers as he seeks fairness.
