16-Year-Old Osasere Okundaye Becomes Nigeria’s Youngest Chartered Accountant

At just 16, Osasere Okundaye has set a new national record by earning her chartered accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. The Minister of Youth Development praised her hard work, discipline and resilience. He called her a shining example of the limitless potential of Nigerian youth. The minister reaffirmed his commitment to building pathways for young Nigerians to develop their talents. Okundaye’s achievement surpasses the previous record set in 2022 by a 17-year-old. The ICAN qualification is known to be one of Nigeria’s most demanding professional exams, making her feat all the more remarkable.
