Tinubu Chairs First Federal Executive Council Meeting Since June 29

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday chaired a Federal Executive Council meeting at the State House, Abuja, the first since June 29. The session began after his arrival at the Council Chamber at about 2:30 p.m. It was attended by Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, ministers, senior government officials and agency heads. Before the meeting, council members observed a minute of silence for former Finance Minister Abubakar Alhaji and former Science and Technology Minister Turner Isoun, who died in July. Details of decisions taken at the meeting had not been released at the time of reporting.
