Abdallah: Warri Wolves Rebuilding for Stronger 2026/2027 NPFL Season

Warri Wolves coach Hassan Abdallah says the club is rebuilding ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League season, which is expected to begin in August. Abdallah took charge late last season and helped the Seasiders avoid relegation. Speaking after a 1-0 pre-season defeat to Rangers in Asaba, he said most of the players used were new recruits who still need time to develop understanding. The coach said the friendly exposed weaknesses, particularly in the final third, and confirmed that some trialists may not make the squad. He remains confident that improved fitness, tactical work and further recruitment will make Warri Wolves more competitive.
