Why Criticism of Pastor Adeboye Misses the Point

I’m really puzzled by how we target pastors instead of asking tough questions of our government. A man built two major universities and a thriving city with excellent roads and world-class health facilities. Yet critics call him foolish. They ignore that our federal and state systems fail the nation’s schools. When a pastor joined a national prayer walk against insecurity, people said he protested. They refuse to accept he followed a church directive to pray, not rage. They label him tribal for speaking up under one administration and quiet under another. I’ve seen him boldly address the president, demand action against terrorists and even suggest international help. Our senators earn millions but remain silent. Why do we blame church leaders for failures that lie at our government’s door? May we learn to focus on real accountability, not spread confusion and anger for politics.

What drives so much criticism of Pastor Adeboye when he's created universities and roads others overlook?

Exactly! Sometimes people overlook those universities and roads he's built for the community.

It seems critics ignore how a religious leader can step in where governments fail, yet still face harsh attacks.

I get the praise for development, but focusing on church projects shouldn't distract us from holding elected leaders responsible.

Maybe we should demand the same level of infrastructure investment and transparency from our government that we admire in church-led initiatives.
