Lagos School Seeks Experienced Counsellor for Student Support

A leading school in Fagba/Isaga, Lagos, is seeking a qualified school counsellor to support students’ academic, career and emotional growth. You will provide individual and group guidance, mediate conflicts and advise on course and career choices to promote student well-being. Your main duties include guiding college and career readiness, tracking academic progress to ensure graduation requirements, coordinating standardized tests and leading group sessions on stress management and exam anxiety. You will also offer crisis intervention for issues such as severe anxiety, depression and substance abuse. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of university admissions and vocational pathways, strong crisis response skills and experience with student information systems to monitor at-risk students and graduation metrics.
