Anambra Deputy Governor Commends Federal Polytechnic Oko’s Innovative Education Approach

Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, has praised the Federal Polytechnic Oko’s management for its forward-thinking strategies in education. The commendation came during a courtesy visit by Senator Barnabas Gemade, chairman of the polytechnic’s governing council, and Rector Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie to the Government House in Awka. Dr. Ibezim assured the team of the state’s ongoing support for quality education and youth empowerment. Senator Gemade highlighted the institution’s vital role in technical and vocational training as a driver of manpower development and innovation. Secretary to the State Government, Chiamaka Nnake, also lauded the proactive partnership between government and tertiary institutions. In her remarks, Dr. Awuzie thanked the deputy governor for the warm reception and reaffirmed the polytechnic’s dedication to academic excellence, innovation, and sustainable development.
