She described the outreach as the "work of Christ". Just two weeks after her wedding, Ruby visited her orphanage home, City of David, to thank God for a successful ceremony. She called God her engine and powerhouse and said nothing brings her more joy than serving others. Earlier this year, the Asaba actress won a humanitarian award and reiterated that giving is living. She has also faced criticism for a viral clip of her tossing money to street children, with fans advising a more respectful approach. Ruby later recalled a moment when well-meaning fans showered her with cash on a film set.
