Adeleke Vows to Back Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Amid Osun LG Crisis

Adeleke Vows to Back Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Amid Osun LG Crisis

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has reaffirmed his commitment to President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. The pledge was made in Osogbo through a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed. Speaking at a Government House meeting with his cabinet and party leaders, Adeleke said state-level disputes over local councils would not affect his support for the presidency. He described Tinubu as the leader of the South West and restated his endorsement. Adeleke praised the rising popularity of the Accord Party since his defection. He credited residents for their support and noted that weekly party activities now draw thousands. He promised to deepen infrastructure, agro-industrialisation, education and healthcare efforts if re-elected. He also directed aides to strengthen grassroots structures across all 332 wards ahead of future campaigns.
