UNIMAID Announces 2026/2027 Admission Cut-Off Marks for All Programmes

University of Maiduguri has published its official cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission screening. Candidates must meet the required UTME scores under Merit, Catchment and ELDS categories to qualify for Post-UTME. Competitive courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Pharmacy and Computer Science have higher benchmarks, while most other programmes require 155 for Merit and 150 for Catchment and ELDS. Prospective students should compare their UTME scores against the official list before proceeding with the screening process.

Has anyone met the required UTME cut-off for Medicine or Dentistry at UNIMAID this year, and how did you prepare for the screening?

I agree, seeing the updated cut-off marks early makes planning for screening so much smoother.

These cut-off scores look higher than last year's. It feels like competition will be even tougher for catchment and ELDS candidates.

Applying the same UTME threshold across all programmes seems unfair given the wide variation in course popularity and resources.

Prospective candidates should focus on improving UTME scores first and then gather past screening questions to practise ahead of the Post-UTME stage.
