NDLEA Chairman Visits Injured Officers, Vows to Bring Abuja Mob Attackers to Justice
NDLEA Chairman Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) paid a get-well visit to Officers Ayegh Dooyun Zachariah and Shehu Jamil Ibrahim at the National Hospital, Abuja. The two were severely injured during a violent mob attack on a drug raid in Dawaki. Marwa assured the officers that the agency will cover all medical expenses and provide official Letters of Commendation alongside support packages to aid their recovery. He condemned the attack as an assault on the state and pledged that those responsible will be arrested and prosecuted. He praised the officers’ bravery and reaffirmed NDLEA’s commitment to dismantling drug cartels and safeguarding communities, undeterred by violent resistance from criminal elements.
