Rainstorm Damages Over 200 Houses in Katsina’s Kusada, Radda Promises Relief
Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has sympathised with residents of Dangamau community in Kusada LGA after heavy rainfall and strong winds damaged homes, shops and other property. The storm reportedly affected at least 200 houses and displaced several families. The governor described the incident as painful and said the losses had caused serious hardship in the community. He said relevant agencies have been directed to assess the damage and provide urgent relief, including food, shelter and other basic support, to affected households. Residents were urged to cooperate with emergency officials as recovery efforts begin.
