Sowore Backs ₦500,000 Monthly Minimum Wage for Nigerian Workers

Omoyele Sowore says Nigerian workers should earn a national minimum wage of at least ₦500,000 monthly, citing the rising cost of living and the country’s economic realities. The African Action Congress presidential candidate made the remark after the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress reportedly demanded a ₦500,000 minimum wage at a workers’ rights summit in Birnin Kebbi.
