Agege Leaders Commend LSSTF on Elere Police Station and Security Boost
Community leaders from Agege Local Government Area and Orile-Agege LCDA visited the Lagos State Security Trust Fund headquarters in Ikeja on June 3, 2026. They praised the Fund’s support for constructing the Elere Police Station and other security projects in their locality. The delegation highlighted how the new station will strengthen policing capacity and reduce response times. They also applauded increased NDLEA operations and other patrols aimed at curbing drug-related crime and improving public safety in Agege. Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, Executive Secretary/CEO of the Trust Fund, thanked the leaders for their visit. He reaffirmed LSSTF’s commitment to partnering with security agencies and stakeholders for safer communities across Lagos State. Those present included the head of the LSSTF Monitoring Unit, Mr. Adeniran Samson Israel, alongside community stalwarts Hon. Sabitu Kamorudeen, Hon. Akinbode Odekunle and Engr. Adeniyi Adekoya.
