ECWA Executive Gunned Down in Plateau’s Dantanko Community
Security forces discovered the body of Emmanuel Agara, an Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) executive, in Dantanko community of Bassa LGA, Plateau State. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound when troops from Operation Enduring Peace responded to a report of suspicious activity on June 16. The area was immediately cordoned off and Agara’s body evacuated for forensic examination. Authorities have launched an investigation to establish what led to his killing and to bring those responsible to justice. Local security operatives have stepped up patrols across the general area to prevent further violence and restore public confidence.
