NPA MD Celebrates Women’s Resilience and Limitless Future on International Women’s Day

Dr Abubakar Dantsoho, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, praised the resilience and professionalism of women at NPA during the 2026 International Women’s Day event in Apapa. He said the Authority is committed to creating a workplace where women do more than just work—they thrive. He described women as key drivers of innovation, efficiency and transformation. From engineering projects to digital port systems, he said their intellect and “human touch” keep operations strong and modern. The theme “Give-To-Gain” calls for real action on inclusion and opportunity. Dantsoho reaffirmed that women are central to NPA’s success. He pledged to remove barriers and ensure merit guides every promotion. He urged female staff to keep pushing boundaries, assuring them that their leadership is seen and their future here is truly limitless.
