APC Charges N100m for Presidential Forms, N50m for Governorship

APC Charges N100m for Presidential Forms, N50m for Governorship

The All Progressives Congress has released fees for its 2027 primaries. Presidential aspirants must pay N30m for expression of interest and N70m for nomination forms. Governorship hopefuls face N10m and N40m fees. The party’s timetable sets the notice of election, sale period, submission deadline and primary dates for all levels, from House of Assembly to Senate. It also outlines appeal dates following each primary. Political analysts condemned the high costs. They warn that monetising politics excludes ordinary Nigerians and undermines democratic ideals. They urge citizens to use their vote to demand change.
