Ford Rehires 300 Veteran Inspectors After AI Quality Checks Fall Short

Ford has brought back over 300 experienced quality inspectors at its manufacturing plants after finding that new AI systems could not match the judgement of human engineers. Returning inspectors will now help retrain the AI tools and mentor younger workers. Ford says combining automation with hands-on expertise is essential for improving its machine learning systems.
