Infantino Reportedly Seeks Trump’s Support as FIFA Leadership Pressure Grows

FIFA president Gianni Infantino is reportedly seeking support from US President Donald Trump as pressure grows over his leadership of world football's governing body. The controversy followed reports that Infantino backed plans to sell a $4.2 billion stake in FIFA's flagship tournament to a private-equity firm led by Joshua Kushner.
