A Lagos magistrate court in Oshodi has sentenced two men to three months in prison for illegal dumping of refuse. The men, identified as Ibrahim Kashua and Kareem Sodiq, pleaded guilty to the environmental offence when they appeared before the court on May 18, 2026. The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources announced their conviction and jail terms via social media.
