Producer Sues Kanye West Over Alleged $110,000 Unpaid AI Vocal Work

Producer Sues Kanye West Over Alleged $110,000 Unpaid AI Vocal Work

An unnamed music producer has sued Kanye West, alleging he was not paid or credited for work on the albums Vultures 2 and Bully. The producer claims he was hired shortly before Vultures 2 was released in August 2024. He says he created more than 400 AI-generated vocal takes and at least 13 custom AI voice models during sessions allegedly directed by West. According to the lawsuit, his work appeared on five Vultures 2 tracks and two released songs from Bully. He is seeking at least $110,000 in unpaid fees, further damages for unreleased material, and proper credits on streaming platforms. West's representatives had not commented when the case was reported.
