I Go Save Blasts Nigerian ISPs for Draining Data in Hours

I Go Save Blasts Nigerian ISPs for Draining Data in Hours

Comedian I Go Save has condemned Nigeria’s internet service providers for what he calls blatant data fraud. In a recent social media video, he accused these companies of draining customers’ data allocations within hours despite one-month subscriptions. He shared his own experience: he paid for a full month of service, only to have his data vanish in a few hours. "How are poor people supposed to cope?" he asked, highlighting the unfair practices. He warned that many Nigerians now switch off their mobile data to avoid unexpected charges. According to him, this has become the norm because providers refuse to be held accountable. He also urged President Tinubu to shift focus from rice imports to the data crisis, calling on the government to protect consumers and ensure fair pricing.
