My Surreal Vision of Nigeria’s 2027 Election Outcome

I had a surreal vision this morning about the 2027 presidential election. It felt so vivid that I decided to share it here. In my dream I was in April 2027, moments after the INEC chairman announced the results on television. I found myself in a crowded hospital, asking strangers who had won. They stared at me as if I’d just arrived from another time. After asking several people, a man checked a paper and said Tinubu won by about 14.4 million votes. I was stunned. As of now (April 2026), Peter Obi is in ADC and many of us are rooting for him. I then saw Tinubu addressing a jubilant crowd. When I later checked past results, I discovered some winners had indeed scored over 15 million votes. I felt disappointed by what I saw in my vision.

True, our political dreamscape looks bizarre, yet it reveals real undercurrents of mistrust more than pure imagination.

Dreams can feel powerful but they're rarely accurate predictors. This might reflect general unease more than any actual electoral outcome.
