Rita Dominic Mourns Alex Ekubo: ‘Heartbreaking to Lose Him Too Soon’

After the funeral of actor Alex Ekubo, Rita Dominic shared a moving message on her social media page. She wrote that losing a young person in their prime is hard to understand and accept. Dominic prayed that Alex would rest in peace and find comfort with the angels. Alex Ikenna Ekubo-Okwaraeeke passed away on May 11 at age 40 after a battle with advanced metastatic kidney cancer. A Service of Songs was held at the Monarch Event Centre in Lekki on June 10. Nollywood stars including Nancy Isime, IK Ogbonna, Ayo Makun and others gathered to pay their final respects.
