A Nigerian woman went viral after sharing a video of a loaf of bread that stayed fresh for two months. Her clip sparked concerns about additives in mass-produced bread. On April 20, she was detained at Zone 2 police station following pressure from an unnamed bread company. Human rights lawyers and supporters gathered at Zone 7 Police Headquarters in Abuja to demand her release. In the early hours of April 21, the Inspector General of Police directed investigators to free her at about 12:30am. Last week, she also revealed she faces a ₦50 million lawsuit despite not naming any brand in her video.
