Sowore Stages Protest at Justice Ministry Over Detention of Whistleblower Justice Mark

Activist Omoyele Sowore led demonstrators to the Ministry of Justice to demand the immediate release of Justice Mark, a whistleblower currently in custody. Protesters carried banners accusing the government of silencing voices seeking accountability. They chanted slogans calling on the attorney-general to respect due process and ensure Justice Mark’s rights are upheld. The crowd remained peaceful throughout the demonstration. As of now, officials at the ministry have not commented on the protesters’ demands.

I agree, public shows like this often nudge officials and spark wider support that increases pressure.

Organisers could follow up with formal demands and legal petitions, then track any responses from the Justice Ministry to maintain momentum.
