Facebook Ads: UBA Debit Card Removed—How to Restore It?

Facebook Ads: UBA Debit Card Removed—How to Restore It? — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Hello everyone. I’ve been running Facebook Ads since last year without any issues. I recently funded my account for April but saw that my UBA debit card (linked for almost a year) was automatically removed by Facebook. This has put my April ads on hold. I tried re-adding the UBA card and even a GTBank Mastercard, but both were rejected. I’m also waiting on my Kuda Bank card, which I used in 2023/24. Has anyone faced this before? What solutions worked for you? Which Nigerian bank debit cards have you successfully used for Facebook Ads payments? Thanks in advance for your help.

Has anyone experienced a UBA debit card being removed automatically from Facebook Ads?

I also saw my UBA card vanish from the Ads payment options. Really threw me off.

I've been through this too, it's stressful when your UBA card disappears on ad settings—fingers crossed we sort it out soon.

Facebook occasionally flags long-standing debit cards for verification, but removing a year-old UBA card seems excessive.

Maybe it's not Facebook at fault here—perhaps the bank's authorization expired without clear notification.

Double-check your UBA online banking portal for any pending authorizations, then update your Facebook Ads payment method accordingly.
