Don Dieudonne, a Cameroonian living in Washington, publicly apologised to his wife for not celebrating her enough while she cared for their three children during his absence. He shared in a social media post that single-handed parenting is far more demanding than he ever imagined. He commended women for their multitasking abilities and suggested they deserve a Nobel prize for balancing motherhood, careers and household duties. After switching roles with his wife for three months, he admitted the work she does at home far exceeds any job a man performs outside. Don emphasised the importance of marrying a kind and supportive partner. He warned that a careless spouse can dim even the strongest personality and urged respect for the huge responsibility of raising children. He closed by hailing women’s resilience and thanking his wife for her incredible strength.
